THE PROBLEM OF UNEMPLOYEMENT IN INDIA
Who is unemployed?: unemployment means lack of work for those who want to work. It means compulsory holiday to some. The educated and uneducated suffer. There is unemployment among the skilled and unskilled workers.
REASONS: there are many reasons of unemployment. The first is overpopulation. Our population is increasing daily. the number of seats to be filled is limited. So everybody can not be employed. The second it is a factory system. Machines are responsible for it. They produce cheap goods. They destroy cottage industries. So manual workers cannot find jobs. Thirdly, our system of education is defective. It produces clerks. A young man begins to hate manual work in the fashionable atmosphere of schools and college. Show the result is that educated people find no job and employee should not find suitable hands for technical post.
EVIL EFFECTS:- the available effects of unemployment are many. It makes an unemployed person pessimist. He loses charm in life. He is not like and respected in the society. The money spent on his education goes waste. His family members begin to hate him. Sometime he becomes a prey to undesirable means. In order to remove tension he drinks or smoke. Thus he loses his helpful stop
EFFORTS OF THE GOVERNMENT: our government is trying to solve this problem. Technical and vocational colleges are being opened . Cottage industries are being encouraged. Efforts are being made to control increase population. Irrigation facilities are being increased. Loans are given to farmers or nominal interest.
CONCLUSION: we should leave the charm of service of us should try to depend on his own efforts. Agricultural, business and cottage industries should be encouraged. Then and then the problem of unemployment could be solved
